The Unique Customs homepage: a back-lit glass garage door with a red Mustang blurred behind it, and the line “Classic American iron, taken apart and put back right.”

Unique Customs

Classic-car restoration and custom builds in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, since 2011. We built the brand, built the site, and wired the shop into the portal.

The brief. Two lines already carried the whole business, “Classic American iron, taken apart and put back right” and “Not a shop. A builder.” Everything we made had to sound like those two lines.

the brand

A brand system, signed off

The Unique Customs homepage on a phone: the cream UC script over the lit garage door, the line “Classic American iron, taken apart and put back right.” and a red Start a conversation button.
The mark, the red, the serif. On a phone.

Drawn with the shop and signed off by it: the UC script, a red taken from its own winged badge, a warm cream, and three voices of type.

“Not a shop. A builder.” set large in an italic serif on cream, from the Unique Customs site, beside a line about one crew seeing a build through under one roof.
Their line, in their type, on their site.

the reveal

The door opens because you arrived

The homepage opens outside the shop at dusk, a Mustang behind the glass. Scroll, and the door rises.

The same homepage a scroll later: the garage door raised and the red Mustang lit inside the bay.
A scroll later. The door is up.

the drive-out

Then it’s yours

A film takes the car off the lift, out the door and onto the road. It is the owner’s own footage, on a loop, closed so the seam doesn’t show.

A still from the drive-out film: the chrome bumper and wheel of a red Mustang, with the line “Then it’s yours — driven off the lift, out the door, and onto the road.”
A still from the drive-out, on the live site.

the cars

Every car gets a page of its own

The work is set as an issue of the shop’s own paper: four builds, each with a magazine-style page of its own.

The work, set like a newspaper spread: Build no. 02 of 04, Chevelle, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS on a wet street at night, beside the next build.
The issue: four builds.
A car page: “1968 Mustang Fastback” set huge in condensed capitals under the paper’s nameplate, with an italic standfirst.
A page per car.

the contact page

It files a work order

A dozen questions about the car, most of them a single click. At the end it files a work order, photos attached, straight into the Axyion portal.

The Unique Customs contact page: “Every car here started as a conversation.”, a year rail set to 1968, and the work order filling itself in down the right-hand side.
The work order fills itself in as you answer.
The same contact page on a phone, with the shop’s phone number and hours above the form.
On a phone.

the back office

The crew runs it from the same login

Those work orders land on the shop’s own board, beside a live jobs board for the builds in progress, in the same portal every Axyion client logs into.

Filed by the contact page, photos attached.Structure shown. The shop’s jobs stay the shop’s.
